Regional qualifiers for the National Laban ng Lahi held in the Municipality of Zarraga, Iloilo headed by the Municipal Mayor Hon. John H. Tarrosa, Vice Mayor Hon. Ma. Jofel M. Soldevilla and the Sangguniang Bayan members.

(Laban ng Lahi is an event intended to gather all running enthusiasts around the country and get the top finisher runners to form one team and compete in the Global Team Marathon Challenge. Each regional team represents for the purpose of promoting local culture, best practices, tourism attraction, historical sites, economic/investment opportunities and many more. This competition focuses on TEAMWORK & CAMARADERIE).
